Our History

Cerpa Brewing Company

Cerpa is one of Brazil’s most traditional breweries. The company was founded in 1966 by a German immigrant called Konrad Karl Seibel, who envisioned the Amazonian rivers as scenarios of perfect purity conditions for producing beers of the highest standards. The factory was built on the banks of Guajara Bay, having achieved top recognition since then.

Still in 1966, to set itself apart from its competitors, the company introduced a process called Draft Beer to enhance the overall quality of the product. Thus, our beer no longer went through the traditional pasteurization process, but through complex cellulose filters and thermal flushing. Cerpa's array of products confirms that quality is our most important ingredient.

That’s the main reason why all of our products go through a rigorous quality control process aimed at offering beers of unparalleled flavor to our customers.
